Ironically, I started my interior design career at a college that didn't even offer an interior design curriculum.  It just so happened that I was going to be sharing a dorm room with my friend and insisted we have matching - on sale - Calvin Klein comforters, and great art for the wall before we moved in. Needless to say, people couldn't stop talking about it

These days the thing I hear over and over from my clients is how much they love how I can bring warmth to a modern room.  Perhaps that's because I'm a bit of a homebody. I love to surround myself with a mix of interesting and beautiful textures, furnishings, lighting and unusual pieces from different eras, and then kick back and relax. it's like living in the middle of a painting.

I'm inspired by all sizes and types of rooms and houses, and delight in the challenge of turning them into a place that you'd love to come home to. Or,  perhaps I should say never want to leave.
